Queen of the South 0 - 0  East Kilbride  (EK win 4-1 on penalties)

East Kilbride produced a defensive masterclass to shut-out SPFL Championship side Queen of the South, before converting all required spot-kicks to claim a famous win, and put two points on the board of Betfred Cup section G.

After the disappointment of two late conceded goal at home against Hamilton Accies on Saturday which led to a 3-1 defeat, Billy Stark's men survived a few woodwork scares before Strachan, Ferris, Hughes and McNeil all scored from the spot, with Matt McGinley saving once.

The drawn match after 90 minutes ensured EK picked up their first sectional point, and the shoot-out triumph secured a bonus point.

Kilby now go into Saturday's penultimate Group G match against Albion Rovers at K-Park in fine spirit.

Admission on Saturday is pay-at-the-gate, and is £10 for adults and £5 concessions.

Season tickets are not valid for this match, but remain on sale at K-Park.
